Raquel is the older sister of Pacifica, who is the main character in the series Scrapped Princess. She is extremely good at using magic, and although she talks and sometimes acts like a ditz, she is actually a very serious and focused person when she wants to be.

Since this fanlisting applies to her character in ALL universes/spheres/whatever I should make a quick comment about the Scrapped Princess manga and novels. In the manga her character is pretty similar to the anime, it mostly the plot that is very different. In the novels you realize that her character was actually somewhat water downed in the anime because you get to see her a lot more and get a better idea of how powerful she actually is. In the anime she plays more of the part of the "big sister that doesn't interfere", and we see more interaction between Pacifica and Shannon. In reality she loves Pacifica just as much, she's just quieter about it.

Raquel Cassul is Pacifica's older sister, as well as her guardian along with her brother Shannon. Raquel is highly skilled in the art of magic; although she is very modest about her abilities when people praise her for her tremendous skill. She is a sweet and gentle young lady, with a serene and cheerful personality. She is probably the calmest member of the Cassul party, carrying about life in a most pleasant manner that can sometimes border on being silly. Even during a combat situation, her gentle nature shines through, only slipping slightly during a most dire predicament.

The eldest member of the Cassul siblings, Raquel is just as serious as Shannon when it comes to protecting Pacifica from harm. Her extensive knowledge of magic has allowed her to produce spells so formidable that they surprise even other mages who come into conflict with her. Raquel is generally friendly to everyone she meets; often apologizing for the disruptions caused by Pacifica or her brother, and is willing to help those who are in trouble. Willing to go to almost any length to protect Pacifica from danger, her devotion to her little sister rivals that of Shannon, despite not showing it as visibly as her brother tends to.
