So, you've made your path with the curve. Now all you have to do is continue this along the outline of the nose, and make paths back the way you came (if that line was a bit confusing, take a look at this picture).
Now all that's left is to close the path. To do so, click on your starting point. It should now look something like this. Next step is to fill in the path you just made. So: Right click and select "Fill Path" and use these basic settings.

The Path should look like this now. Final step: Right click again and this time select "Delete Path". Click "Ok" when asked if you really want to delete the path. Now it looks like this.

And that's basically all there is to making an outline! I went ahead and finsihed the outline, so now I have this~

So now we're reading to color our outline!

Make a new layer ( Ctrl + Shift + N) and name it something like "Leaves" (since I'll be filling the leaves on his hat in first). Place this layer below the outline layer. Now all you have to do is make some paths on the leaves like we did for the outline:

After that, all you have to do is choose the color you want the leaves to be. When that's done, it's the same as when doing an outling (except with a different color ;)). Close the path, right click > fill path > ok. Then right click > delete path > ok and you've got some vectored leaves!
Remeber to make a new layer whenever you're filling another part of the vector in. After the leaves I made a layer called "Hat Shadow" in which I filled in the shadow parts of the hat.
Note: Place every new layer below the outline and below the preceeding layer. For example, after the "Leaves" layer, I said I made a "Hat Shadow" layer. I placed "Hat Shadow" below the "Leaves" layer to ensure that the shadow of the hat wouldn't go over the leaves I made. Get it?
