Tutorial: Making a Tiny Grid
Here is a really quick and easy tutorial that comes out with a interesting result.
Requirements: Photoshop and knowledge of how to make scanlines (their are tons of tutorials out their that explain how to make those!)

If you're anything like me you've probably wondered how to make those very tiny grids like the one that is in the picture above. Well wonder no more! I figured it out myself and now I will share with you. It doesn't even require any screen caps for me to explain it since it is so simple.
1.)Ok first make a new layer on top of your image. Use Edit>Fill and then fill the layer with your scanline pattern.
2.)Now copy that layer. With the copied layer selected go to Edit>Transform and rotate it 90 degrees (doesn't matter which way you rotate it).
3.) There is your small grid. You are going to have to copy the now vertical scanlines a couple of times and then pull each copy across until your entire image is covered by the vertical lines.
That's it! You're all done. I fixed mine up by merging all the scanlines onto one layer and then changing the opacity to around 50. Then I took the eraser on Airbush with a size of around 200 and just erased around Link's face.
