Aoshi's Gang
Hanya
Hanya seemes to be the warmest of the Oniwabanshuu group. He is very close to Aoshi and he has a soft spot for Misao. He uses Kempo which Aoshi taught him. He is also able to do a "ninja vanish." Because of his disfigured face he keeps a mask on whenever possible. When he first fights Kenshin he uses the stripes on shirt sleeves to conceal the length of his arms, and therefore make his enemy confused.
Shikijou
He is extremely strong but his training has meant that he is now covered with many scars. He is also arrogent, which is why Sano and he get so mad at each other. (They are practially twins!) Usually he just pummels poeple but he has a huge ball on a chain that he can smack people with too. He is also the first one to rush to defend Aoshi.
Beshimi
This guy is really tiny - like the size of Yahiko. He likes to stay in hiding and then rush to attack (sometimes with his special poison darts). In some pictures he has what looks like a breathe right strip on his nose (like what football players wear).
Hyottoko
This guy is HUGE! But he also has the IQ of a post. When you first meet him he fights with his brute strength, and he breathes fire. Then Sano figures out that he is making the fire with a sack-thing he keeps in he mouth.
